LEMERY COLLEGES is a university duly established in the first district of Batangas, The Philippines, offering wide range of Technical Education & Skills Development Authority (TESDA and Commission for Higher Education (CHED)-approved programmes. Lemery Colleges is one of the performing tertiary institutions on the first district of Batangas. It was established on 1994, and founded by Mr. Oscarlito M. Hernandez together with his wife Mrs. Filomena Hernandez. It is located at Brgy. Bagong Sikat, Lemery, Batangas. Lemery Colleges offers different college courses and Junior High School. But because of the new curriculum kindergarten to Grade 12, also known as K-12, Lemery Colleges is also now offering Senior High School.

 

At present, Lemery Colleges continues to achieve continuous increase in enrollment. Lemery Colleges were recognized to operate degree courses and has the ability to sustain the growth it has achieved in the past and will continue to strive in the coming years.

 

At Lemery Colleges, the career development go hand in hand. We prepare students to become life-long learners and leaders in a local and global society.

PORTSWORLD ACADEMY MALAYSIA which has forged extensive linkages with the logistics & supply chain sector is a recognised leader on industry data-base management, research & public policy planning on development of logistics strategy.

Leveraging on its industry data-base resources, PWA ventured into designing & delivering customised formal and informal training programmes and courses to higher educational institutions in Malaysia & The Philippines as well as to professional upskilling career pathways for adult learners & industry practitioners.

CENTRE FOR SMART LOGISTICS & GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAIN EXCELLENCE

Lemery Colleges, Batangas, THE PHILIPPINES and PORTSWORLD ACADEMY MALAYSIA share a common vision in the advancement of knowledge development in the field of logistics, supply chain management and freight transportation with the establishment of the CENTRE FOR SMART LOGISTICS & GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAIN EXCELLENCE (SMARTLOGxl).

In joint partnership, SMARTLOGxl has been set up to promote knowledge development in the study of logistics & supply chain management to address curricular gaps in formal education programmes by providing informal learning & executive training programmes to enhance competencies, increase employability & career progression in one of the fastest growing business sectors in the world.

SMARTLOGxl will also deliver data science & informatics to strengthen the pervasive development of logistics & supply chain management in what is becoming increasingly a data-driven industry.

Distinguished Faculty of International Advisors

An International Faculty of Advisors has been established to help guide & support the development of the Centre for Smart Logistics & Global Supply Chain with their industry knowledge & expertise. The Advisors will connect and share with the management of the Centre to help it grow and achieve its goals.

The Advisors, who are subject matter experts in their respective subject areas, will be invited to interact with student-learners from the Centre to deepen industry knowledge on contemporary issues & development.

DURAIRAJ GOVINDASAMY, Founder-Director, PortsWorld Academy Malaysia

Durairaj, an economist from University of Malaya, has been engaged in public policy planning studies on development on logistics. He served as SME on the Malaysian-government study on national trade facilitation & logistics master plan and has designed, developed & delivered lectures on logistics & SCM at universities in Malaysia & The Philippines.

Ramesh N.P. Chandran

Ramesh holds Master in Laws (Southampton) & from the Middle Temple (UK) and Hague Academy of Law, has been extensively engaged in corporate sector legal matters as well as in providing wide range of maritime related advisory work and support for Shipowners, P & I Clubs in areas such as Arrest of Vessel, Wreck Removal, Oil Pollution & Arbitration.

Based in Dubai serving a Lead Advisory, Analytics and Client Relationship for Supply Chain & Logistics Practice, Gopal has been with Frost & Sullivan for more than 20 years.
